I have to say this was a truly wonderful trip to Iceland , everything was well planned and executed. The hotel was a little out of town but no problem really, as we taken around in a coach. I love the Icelandic people so open and determined as a hard working nation.
The New Year's Eve meal was a joy, in the best venue in town, the fireworks a legend, as were the bonfires and the traditional dancing and singing by the locals. The trips were fantastic, and for me the blue lagoon on New Year's Day a treat. We saw the northern lights which was the icing on the cake. Paul our guide was very informative and kept busy, alongside Hol our local guide who was a real local who loved sharing her stories with us. Five stars plus.
