Oh Mel. If you like ice cream try the gelateria just up from the harbour. I had licquorice ice cream there! :thumbup: Sounds disgusting but it was YUM! She also does really good sandwiches!

Thank you Elaine. I am not too partial to licquorice ice cream but I will definitely pay her a visit! Looking forward to sampling the Italian ice cream if nothing else!

Your pictures look fab! I have booked Sicily in August and it will be the first time visiting Italy. Your photos remind me of the hard choice i have when booking Italian holidays because there's just soo much. In mind for the next year or so are : Sorrento, Lake Garda, Tuscany and the Riviera and now cilento!

Best get some overtime in!

Thanks for a great review I am travelling from Heathrow via Rome (pain) to the cilento coast on 2nd June. Really appreciated all the helpful advice. Bit apprehensive about airports. My last trip at Xmas to SA we all met in the exec lounge and our tour manager travelled out with us. Hopefully I will meet up with fellow travellers before getting to Departure Gate and I hope I have company when getting to Rome to negotiate our on going plane. Eeeek nervous. .

It sold out pretty fast this year didn't it? Deservingly so. Beautiful location (in a very uncommercialised part of Italy), and a GREAT hotel.

Excellent - go for it. You won`t regret it. This was my second JY holiday. I was apprehensive at first, but met lovely people and had a great time. Keep posting and let us know what you decide.
