Returned from this tour last week, one word to sum it all up - fantastic!

Sarah the tour manager was great and also a great group of people. It was tiring the first week, as having to contend with jet lag and early mornings. But all the different places I visited were certainly worth the early morning calls. And I caught up on sleep at the beach resort for the last 3 days and the foot massages on the beach certainly helped me to fully unwind 🙂.

Don't hesitate if you are thinking of booking this one. I did all the optional tours and can recommend, floating markets, rickshaw ride, elephant ride and River Kwai trip as definite to dos, but would say do them all!

Hi Julie

It's difficult to say how much spending money you will need. Just about all of your meals and drinks are included so you won't need much for that. You may just need money for souvenirs, shopping, alcoholic drinks in the evening - that kind of thing. I would allow at least £20 per day, plus excursion money.

I've copied in the prices for this year's excursions below.

Kind regards

Olly, your editor

A Trishaw ride through the town will take you to the colourful night market from which locals supply their goods, and freshly cooked Thai delicacies can be seen being prepared before your very eyes. Continuing along the sea front, you can watch the bustling activities of the fishing pier and enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the waters of Gulf of Siam.

Hi Julie,

Ref spending money, it depends how much you want to buy!

Food is included, apart from lunch in the Beach resort area, but it was very cheap to buy food/drink at the hotel and you can also buy outside of the hotel in the village which was cheaper. If you spend money on alcohol in the evenings, again cheap, but this will mean extra spending money.

Obviously exchange rates may differ next year but at today's rate, I would say take at least three hundred pounds, you can always change it back if you dont spend it and if you need more just get from an ATM. And of course you can pay for any hotel spends on your Debit card.

And the trip added by the Editor for Hua Hin, did not include the seafood dinner, might be worth double checking that if you decide to book.

Hope that helps.

Debbie
