Hi,

i've never been on a single holiday before but the West coast trip really appeals. Can anyone tell me what the general age group is of these holidays? I was hoping it is fairly mixed rather than loads of youngsters or retired people.

Hi Joolz,

I did this holiday last year (June) and there was 18 of us and it was a very mixed bag of ages.

7 men - (1 in 40's, 2 in 50's, 1 in 60's & 3 in 70's)

11 Ladies - (2 in 20's, 1 in 30's, 1 in 40's, 2 in 50's, 4 in 60's & 1 in 70's).

Some are my estimates but hope its a help.

Hi Mick,

Most impressed with your reply! I think it's always good to support an opinion with actual facts.

You obviously have an aptitude for figures and I know from your posts you are going on a couple more trips this year. If you are willing, I think it would be interesting if you continued with your statistics for future reference. Questions about age and gender balance, both in general and on specific trips, are always being asked and I'm sure it would be useful to many forum members. Obviously, it's only an idea so feel free to ignore if you wish.

Cheers :)
