Hello,

I have just been trying to order my currency for South Africa And the Victoria Falls add-on in March. The Zambian currency is the kwacha. However, I find you can only buy this currency actually in Zambia. TripAdvisor states that it is easy to buy from ATMs using your credit or debit card in any Zambian airport, hotel or bank. Can you tell me that this is the case?

Many thanks,

Bridget

Hi Bridget,

We would recommend taking US dollars to Zambia and you can get some Kwacha locally.

You should also be able to use ATM machines, but can also pay for excursions or any hotel bills by credit card.

thanks,

Jamie
