First ever just you trip coming up in November and I have a few questions. Am flying from glasgow to heathrow before getting the flight to Delhi. Do I need to collect my luggage at heathrow? Do I need to check in at glasgow and heathrow or am I sorted once I've checked in at glasgow? When I get to heathrow how do I find the just you rep? Sorry, sound like a moron but never travelled alone in my life!!

Hi Alylee1

Welcome to the world of Just You! I hope you have a great time in India - I took one of our India tours last year and it was so good - I get goosebumps when I think of some of the experiences we had!

But on to answering your questions, I have spoken to our flights team who have advised that, yes - you would need to collect your luggage at Heathrow and check-in again. (same on the return flight). It is always worth confirming this at the desk in Glasgow when you drop off your luggage.

In terms of finding the airport representative. They usually loiter around the check in desk and will be carrying one of our Just You clipboards so keep an eye out for this. we know that on occasion they can be hard to spot, especially if they are helping another traveller, so I would recommend putting your Just You luggage tags on your suitcase (and handbag) so that they can spot you in the crowd.

If you have any more questions prior to your trip, please don't hesitate to ask!

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi

I too have to fly from Scotland to Heathrow for long haul flights and can confirm that you will have to collect your luggage at Heathrow and check in again. You may also have to change terminals but this is relatively straightforward.

I did the Spirit of India trip in 2012 and it remains my favourite JY holiday.

Any questions please ask.

Lesley
