Hi Amy/Julia,

I have just received my final docs for A Viennese Christmas & Lake Balaton. You state that the luggage allowance is 20kg for Economy and 30kg for Business Class. On checking Austrian Airlines website they clearly state that the allowance is 23kg and 30kg. Please can you explain why you have put a lower weight on my docs?

Also please can you confirm where we can change Sterling/Euros for Hungarian forint in the country as I have a 50 mile round trip to obtain currency in the UK. What is the availability of ATMs near to our hotel, and can we change currency actually in the hotel - most banks of course will be closed due to it being the holiday period?

Thank you.

Cheers,

Hils

Good Afternoon Hils,

I have contacted the relevant department here at JYHQ who can confirm that as you are travelling in Economy, that your luggage allowance is 1 piece up to 23kgs in the hold.

You can change Euros for Hungarian Forint at any ATM machine. However, there is a currency exchange facility at the hotel.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for replying. I'm hoping you will be contacting the other 39 people on this tour to advise that their documentation is wrong, as I suspect that a large majority will not use the Forum? 3kg makes a big difference!

Cheers,

Hils

Hello Hils,

I have just returned from Vienna with my daughters. It was a most amazing city, easily walkable and with a hop on and off bus that covered most of the City. We were disgusted that the bus tour talked about the Third Man and the Harry Lyme theme for the Prater which is the big ferris wheel near the Danube. For my girls and I, this is James Bond and Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton.

A must is Cafe Sacher, the original Sachertorte and Cafe Central. We ate so much and I have just realised that one of the main picture headers of the Just You is the Christmas Market at the Rathaus. Here we ate soup in a bowl made of bread- absolutely glorious.

Have a wonderful time,

Jan
