Hi Peter

How confusing. I thought that there were only 2 dates available in 2019 - March and November. Was not aware of the May date.

I too am not going to snorkel as not sure I would like to put my head under water so will join those who are not snorkelling. May be there a glass bottom boat trip on offer and we can see the fishes and other sea creatures via that route!

Best wishes

Jaya

Hi Jaya,

There were only two dates, however, due to very popular demand, the team have opened up an additional date for this tour.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi All

I know this holiday is a long way off, but I am hoping that Patrick Twomey will be allocated the Tour Manager for our trip - he was TM on my Winter Rockies Spectacular in January this year and has just taken the Chile and Easter Island trip where Bob Gray has given him a glowing review.

Also, if anyone on the March 2019 trip wants to join my Facebook group, please let moderator Amy know your email address and I'll try and track you down via FB.

Regards

Sylvia

Hiya Sylvia and all fellow March 2019 Galapagonians!

As you know Sylvia, I'm a technical numpty and so not on Face-tagram or whatever, but I'll be in touch via e-mail shortly. Having read Mr Gray's review of Chile, I too hope that we get Patrick Twomey allocated for our tour, he sounds an absolute treasure and I know he looked after you superbly in the Rockies.

I'm sure you spotted it but the David Attenborough show about Galapagos was repeated on TV last week and is making me even more excited about our forthcoming adventure. I was quite surprised at how much more densely populated the Islands are than I had imagined. I had pictured somewhere as quiet as Hanga Roa but it looks more like St Helier!

Happy Christmas and all the best everyone, just 15 months to go :D

Hi Mandy

I too watched the repeat of the Galapagos and it is a bit sad that the human population, which is increasing by the day, is causing some problems to the wildlife. I am glad I decided to book for March 2019 as who knows how much damage will be caused further along the line by the invasion of humans? Look forward to meeting you and all the others who are going in March 2019.

Jaya
