Hi Mark,

I would so love to do this tour, the itinerary looks truly amazing but unfortunately the date doesn't work for me.  And fantastic value compared with the price of the normal tour.  I hope you go and have a brilliant time.

Cheers,

Bob

I too want to go to Oz and this tour looks amazing. The only problem is taking so much time off work and whether I would be allowed to do so?

Hi Jaya

I went on the OZ tour in 2013 and like you funds permitting and getting so much time off work I would not hesitate to take in this extended departure even though it covers many of the places I have been it also covers a lot I havn't and this does represent excellent value

Costa Rica shall soon be here and wow on seeing a list of all the optionals available have made me mega excited, I do feel that this tour is going to surpass our wonderful Borneo Tour, I just hope an op I am waiting for does not come too close to march

all the best

Dave

Mildred and Dave

You are both making me very tempted to do the special Oz tour in 2018! I am going to look at the itinerary and the dates again to see if I can manage to get time off work. This means I will have to re pan 2018 - not sure if I will ever get to do the Sri Lanka trip at this rate!

Kind regards

Jaya

Hi Jaya,

If you are seriously thinking of doing this tour then you should move quickly - I see JY have a promotion at the moment that if you book for 2018 for Oz by 23 Dec, they will give you £200 worth of excursions free!  Unfortunately I already have holiday plans for Feb 2018 so won't be able to go on this amazing tour....

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Bob

Looks like I will have to move quickly. I was planning to do the Chile/Easter Islands trip in 2018 and then there is Burma, Sri Lanka, Roof of the World and many more, but perhaps a good idea to do this tour whilst I am working and have the energy to do so. It is a very long haul flight and I may not be fit enough when I retire. I will ask and find out if I can have a month off.

Mildred, any idea how big the Group will be?

Oooh ....... very tempting. Oz was on my wish list for the future when I retire. Like the look of the tour, but not sure if work would be very keen on me taking month off - will need to do some investigating.

Mention in earlier post of promotional offer by JY of £200 worth of excursions for free until 23 Dec. but unable to see any mention on webpage. Are these already in the included excursions, or is this offer against the six optional excursions?

Hi

I called Just You today to pay my balance and book optional excursions for the March Costa Rica trip and spoke with one of the customer services agent who confirmed that the group will consist of 17 travellers and already there have been 3 bookings. I have got permission to take time off from work and will be booking this trip tomorrow. The itinerary, compared to the usual Australia tour looks fantastic as we will be visiting so many other places. I had to put my other 2018 holiday plans to rest so I can go on this once in a lifetime trip! Other places will just have to wait till 2019. Hopefully Just You will still fly with Quantas as they have announced direct flights to Perth in 2018, which will take 17 hours. Am already getting excited!

Hi Dave

Fingers crossed that  your op is not too close to March.  Now that I have paid the balance and booked the optional excursions I am getting quite excited.  Coach and hotel booked so only thing left is to get the ESTA, which I will in January.  Not long to go...!

Hi Alison

The offer of free excursions if you book by 23 December is against the optionals - Bush Barbeque, Daintree and Philip Island Penguin Parade. A think a very good deal. I have booked and am already excited. Hopefully you too will be able to book.

wow Jaya

you have gone for it, this amazing tour looks just that, i wish i'd not done oz now so i could have done this special extended one, did the bush bbq was ok nothing special but glad i did it, didn't do the penguins, i went to watch some cricket at the MCG and to a football match that afternoon and wasn't doing Daintree as was a rare rest day to just potter around humid and Tropical Cairns, this trip came on the back of the fantastic Kuranda railway and was cancelled anyway due to lack of bookings

the £200 for those three excursions looks about right, i know when i went in 2013 the bbq was £50 so the other two are poss £70 - £80 each

enjoy i'm very envy

Thanks Jaya.  Unfortunately, although still interested in tour, not able to consider booking before January as I need to discuss feasibility of extended period of leave away from work with colleagues who are already on festive leave.  Will look at it again in New Year.

Hi Dave

I am not too keen on the Bush barbeque and would not have paid for it so being included in the free package is a bonus. Hopefully I will enjoy it - I can still opt out whilst there.

Alison, hope you do get time off work as this is one amazing trip - much better than the 'normal' one. 2018 is a long way away so fingers crossed nothing stops me from going.

Hi Bob

I decided to take the plunge and go for it as this is an amazing itinerary once I got permission from work to take all this time off. I would have done the stopover, but did not want to ask for even more time off! I am jealous about you doing the Chile / Easter Island trip - I tried to book it at the same time but it was already full. It is a wonderful trip and hope I get to do it in 2019 - a long way away! I am already looking forward to reading your review.

Regards

Jaya
