Ever since joining I have had a problem with my password.

I put in my password and ask to have it remembered and next time I log in the password box just has the asterisks showing so I assume that it has remembered my P/W, so put my identity in and enter, but no it says incorrect information, so I have to start again and enter my P/W and I'm in. Why is it not remembering it but obviously storing some old information or something, its only a small things but it gets a bit annoying happening every time. Regards GeoffT

H GeoffT,

That sounds like a problem with your browser rather than the JY website. When you enter your correct password does it ask you 'remember it' or 'replace' it? If not, you may have to clear your saved password for this site in the settings of your browser.

If you need any help, let me know and I will pass this on to a member of the IT team - unless their is a tech savvy user on here??

Kindest regards,

Monty

It's exactly the same for me. But, as I know it won't do it (and it never has), I don't bother and just re-enter my password. As for clearing the settings of my browser, I wouldn't have a clue!

Hi GeoffT,

I had exactly the same problem a few months ago. I think I solved it by not logging out of the page. :-/

I'm not sure that it's 'correct' to do that, but when I found a password/user name combo that worked, I was sticking to it!

Hope you get sorted soon.

Jean

I should have added that you don't need a password to read the entries on the Forum, only if you want to start a new thread or reply to one - so, unless you are someone who is constantly posting, having to enter your password from time to time shouldn't be a bother.
