I posted a query here in the 'Ask your Editor' forum on Saturday - and today about an hour ago - but it has not appeared yet? I understand this is monitored before it appears - but I don't understand what was wrong with it?

Hi Julie,

Nothing is wrong with it! Sadly, I don't have the answer to everything and need to involve my colleagues this means that some posts take longer to appear than others while I get to the bottom of things.

The only reason it isn't published straight away, is due to the volumes of posts it is possible for us to lose posts before we can provide a reply. If it stays in the queue we are able to hold on (and continue to chase for a response).

I am looking into your query at the moment.

Glad you just answered that query Julie, I posted a question this morning that hasn't appeared, I did realize that it may need further investigation so I was going to give it time, but I had one I posted a few weeks ago that I gave about 3 or 4 days to and in the end I reposted it and got a reply straight away, so it seems some posts do disappear into a black hole.

That's what happens when you are so good at your job and quick with the answers Julia, we expect your colleagues to be the same. Patience is a virtue, obviously something I need a lot more of.

There are three of you travelling from Leeds Bradford on this date.

Hopefully one of your fellow travellers uses the Community, if not, make sure you keep an eye out for the green/grey Just You luggage tags at the airport. It's worth making sure that you put one of the tags on your hand luggage so that both your fellow travellers and our Airport Representatives are able to spot you.

Well Julia, it has been 7 working days since I sent my post and still no reply. If I said I had been tossing and turning at night I would be lying, but I HAVE got itchy fingers.

I'm not blaming you as I know you passed my question to a colleague, so I expected to wait 2 or 3 days. I asked, what I thought, was a simple question, one which didn't require someone with a masters degree in question answering to reply to, a simple answer would suffice, or is it that they just don't want to answer.

How much longer do I have to be patient, I am doing my best here.

Sorry for the delay, hopefully you received my email yesterday.

So, with regard to the change of hotel in Uzbekistan....

Our team are aware of the negative reviews of the Grand Bukhara hotel. The vast majority on trip advisor (all except 1) of these are pre-2014. Those from this year have been generally positive and all of these reviews have been raised by our team with our overseas agents.

The hotel management have taken on board the past feedback from guests, from social media sites, from agents that use the hotel and they have also met with tour operators to discuss ways to improve the service it offers so that it can be considered a first choice hotel. Throughout 2014 changes and updates to the hotel have been made and the hotel management continues to strive for excellence.

Hello Julia

Yes, I only found your e-mail today (Thursday) so didn't get a chance to answer yesterday. I have just seen your today's post on the forum.

Many thanks for looking into this, it is much appreciated. From what you say, it hopefully looks like things have improved at this hotel. Like I said in my original post, I don't normally take Tripadvisor too seriously but this seemed like an exception, must admit I didn't find any reviews on there for 2014. Here's hoping all will now be well and all my worries were for nothing.
