Hi Julia

With all the excitement of new holidays coming out, is it anticipated that any of the holidays currently available will be dropped at the end of this year? In the past some holidays have disappeared without prior notice, I don't want to miss out on something I might like to do in the future, this has happened to me more than once over the years, you know what its like, you put something on the back burner thinking "I'll do that next year", only to find its gone.

Kindest regards

Hi Avocet,

Will and his team are still in the process of planning the full 2015 programme so it’s too early to say if any of our current holidays won’t be appearing the brochure. Should we remove a tour in 2015, it doesn’t mean that we won’t return there again in the future – for example the Ultimate Polar Bears trip returned to the brochure after taking a break for a few years.

If you have a particular tour in mind I can see what I can find out.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Well Julia, I'm toing and froing between 3 at the moment for later this year, think the one I'm most concerned about is the Silk Road to Samarkand, I've put this one off for a couple of years now because there's been others higher up on my priority list, but now it's near the top and I will kick myself if it goes, it's so difficult to know what priority to put holidays in. I'm still thanking my lucky stars that I booked Nepal (what a great holiday that was) just in the nick of time, I went on the last but one holiday before it disappeared never to be seen again. Would be really good if Will can give you some idea about Uzbek.

Many thanks

Hi Avocet,

I would err on the side of caution, and recommend that you visit Uzbekistan this year.

We've had it in the brochure for a few years now so it's possible that it'll be rested from the end of 2014.

Numbers for later this year are:

12th September departure: 18 travellers currently booked

10th October departure: 16 travellers currently booked

7th November departure: 5 travellers currently booked

Kindest regards,

Julia

"never to be seen again" in a few months time that may not be the case!

Will, am I understanding you correctly, are you saying Nepal might be coming back? Is it going to be one of the new holidays in September? I do hope so, I would jump at the chance to go there again, I loved everything about that country.

Ummm, you're not giving much away are you!! I've already booked Uzbek, I'm not taking any chances on that one and, as much as I am excited about the new brochure coming out in 14 days time, I have made a decision that I will definitely not be booking any holidays for 2015 until I have seen the September brochure. I'll leave you and the team in peace now, you're all doing a magnificent job.

Kind regards

haha, it's not that I am being coy - things change often and so I don't like promising things that aren't decided upon you see!
