Hi, Julia

I'm all over the place as regards this years holidays, so apologies in advance.

Can you tell me if there are any singles travelling on the TS departure to Calabria on the 12th Sept? And if so, what is the gender/age breakdown, please?

There's a JY departure on the 15th Sept., which obviously I'd rather go on but I'm not too keen to fly Alitalia via Rome to Lamezia Terme (I've heard bad reports both about the airline and the high incidence of luggage loss in Rome!). As there are no regional departures on offer, do I assume I'd have to overnight it at one or both ends of the journey? I'd be flying from Edinburgh.

The TS option would indicate that I'd not need to stay in London overnight, and it's a direct flight to Naples. I just can't decide about this, cos obviously I'd rather travel with single people than with a lot of couples, but the TS travel schedule is a bit more appealing!

Cheers,

Lynne

Hi Lynne,

There are four passengers who have paid a single rate on the Travelsphere 12 September Calabria tour, three women one man with ages late fifties and seventies.

In terms of the JY departure, I'm really not the best person to speak with about the regional departures and I would recommend speaking with one of our Holiday Advisors. They would be able to talk through the options available to you if you were to pick this holiday. If you would prefer someone call you - please email me your phone number (jmorton@justyou.co.uk) and I'll ask someone to contact you.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Lynne,

I am going on this trip from Glasgow on 31 August. I fly to Gatwick on 30th for the flight next day.

If you go to the Book Now link for 15 Sept. you will see that you can fly from Edinburgh to Gatwick, on the 14th, stay at Gatwick overnight and fly to Naples next day.

Hope this helps

Regards

Sylvia

Thanks, Julia and Sylvia

Sylvia - I'm afraid that for some reason, the departure on the 15th September doesn't have the option to fly direct from Gatwick. It's scheduled to depart from Heathrow via Rome with Alitalia. As far as I can see, it's the only departure to use this route. Just my luck!

Julia - thanks for the offer of a call back, but it seems clear to me that I have to make the choice of an unattractive route or being in a group consisting mostly of couples. And I'm still swithering about that!

Best wishes to you both,

Lynne

Hi Lynne,

I wonder if you went far enough into the booking process?

After the Book now link you come to

I'd like to depart from

"Please select"

Under that there is

Show All - this will take you to the Edinburgh link.

I have just looked and the Edinburgh departure, including the supplement is shown as £1238.

You don't have to continue with the online booking if you don't want to, you can pull out of it at any time.

If you can manage to get through to customer services they should be able to help.

Hope you have success

Sylvia

Hi, Sylvia

Thank you so much for trying to help, but when I do as you suggest, the only date option that comes up is for 12 October! Wish I'd booked for the August trip, now. Not sure I can wait an extra month for a rest!

Coin toss it is!

Hope you enjoy your own holiday,

All the best,

Lynne
