Hi Julia

I am on the Spirit of India trip on 30 Sep 13. Looking at the JET airline website it would appear that the baggage allowance is only 15KG which does not seem much. Is this correct?

Hi Angela,

The 15kg allowance only applies to domestic flights if they have been issued on a separate ticket to the international flight.

The good news is that all of our bookings to India have the flights issued on one ticket, so the international luggage allowance of 23kg applies throughout.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Ange,

With 23kg, there might also be just enough room for the kitchen sink!

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi,

Thanks for posting that question. i am off to kerala in October, and there is an internal flight, so I assumed it was 15 kg. I was really worried, as if the allowance is 23kg, I still have to take things out. I can't imagine packing 15 kg!!

I can stop having sleepless nights now !! Lol. C

Hi.

My advice would be to ensure that you leave some allowance for any gifts/souvenirs you might buy during the trip. I did this trip last year and some of our group had to pay an excess baggage charge when luggage was weighed prior to an internal flight!

This is a great,if very full on,holiday. Enjoy!
