Hi. Nervous first timer and I'm thinking of going to Tuscany, Apulia or Calabria in September if anything is still available by the time I pluck up the courage.  Anyone been or going, not sure which to choose as all sound good.

Hi

I'm a newbie too!  So much choice and they all sound fab. Also like the sound of Monet Gardens. Will have to seriously take the plunge! Janice

Hello everyone,  Another Newbie here.

I've not booked anything just Yet, I've always wanted to go travelling on my own but I'm to Nervous too. What's everyone's experience been like so far?

Hi, a very nervous newbie here! Have never travelled on my own before and I'm thinking of the Classic cities of Italy tour in September. Any other new travellers thinking of the same?

Hi everybody!

I am booked to go to the south of France in the autumn. I'm quite a shy person but don't want the hassle of having to organize my own holidays, but I do like to get out and about. Hopefully this will be just the ticket.

Question...are there loos on the coaches that take us on our trips out or are there opportunities to stop if necessary?

Are there any fellow geocachers out there?

Hi

On coach trips there are frequent rest stops so nothing to worry about.

Hi, I chose Highlights of Tuscany for my first trip, it was fab, great tour manager and so many beautiful places visited.

A busy week but well worth it.

Go for it, everyone is friendly and wanting to enjoy themselves.

I have made lots of new friends and have been on  two further holidays.

Hi, I'm always nervous before going on on my Just You holidays but I've never regretted them. I've been on 4 and going on my 5th (Kenya) in September. I've had amazing experiences and met some great people. Age has never been an issue for me either even though I've often been the youngest one there! Don't let nerves hold you back!

Good Afternoon,

The tour manager isn't all on the community but if you have any queries, I will send them over to her.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Peter

You might be better posting in the "say hello to other single travellers" section of the forum as more people probably respond to questions there.

Personally, I started travelling with JY in 2010 and have done a mixture of long haul and european holidays. I have a wish list which I am working my way through!

My advice is to pick a holiday and go for it.

I too am a newbie to JY and feeling a bit nervous about my first trip on 21 September to Andalucía. Its reassuring though to read all the positive comments from others following their first trip.

Is anyone else going on this trip? I would love to hear from you.

Hi there

I am trying to find out about people booked on Wild Borneo trip Oct 17 but my posts don't appear! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If this is successful hopefully I can find out things like the age range and male/ female ratio.

I'm staying at terminal 4 premier inn the night before and just wondered if anyone else is too?

I hope to hear from somebody!!!?

Hi Sue

You need to post a new thread here with the title Wild Borneo Oct 17th, the moderator will answer your questions. To find others on your tour, post on the say hello to other single travellers section, though not everyone uses the forum.

Good Luck

Barb

Hi All,

I'm very new to this, I have travelled alone but not in a while. For my 40th next year I am looking to book the Rockies Spectacular Tour. I enjoy company but equally like time on my own, love sightseeing and exploring. I'm also a bit partial to a glass of wine or two, so I'm hoping that this trip includes its all.

Is anyone else thinking of booking this trip in 2018?

I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne, it would be lovely to know if there are any other fellow geordies that have used this company.

Thanks in advance, Mel

Hi Mel

Probably a very delayed reply from a fellow Geordie, I travelled for the first time with JY last year to India, it was fabulous, JY look after you so well, everything is so well organised.  any questions just ask

Hi, most people are nervous the first time they book a a single traveller holiday.

If it helps, I booked my first one last May  (Highlights of Tuscany) and it turned into one of the best holidays I remember and I would not hesitate to recommend it to any-one.

Take the plunge (by the way, I have already booked a second holiday with JY for Christmas)

Good luck and enjoy

Marie
