Hi,

Im trying to plan my holidays for next year +, the ones im interested in are the canadian rockies, china and south africa. I was wondering when the best time of year was to go to these places. Any advice would be gratefully received - i dont want to miss out on seeing things after travelling such a distance!!

Thanks

Lucinda

Hello Lucinda,

thanks very much for your post, we receive a lot of questions like this on the forum.

We always plan our holidays and choose departure dates that allow us to incorporate as much of the country and its wonderful experiences as possible. Our itineraries are all available online to view for each of the tours so you can see exactly what you would be doing. There is also a wealth of optional and included excursions on many of tours so you will get the see and do plenty while away 🙂

Anything else, please ask,

Kindest

Ben

Hi Lucinda (not the Lucinda from the India trip in March by any chance??), I went to S Africa last Sept - a brilliant time to go! Pleasant spring temps in Cape Town and hot elsewhere, but not oppressively so. If you are going to do this trip, do trip to do the add-on to the Victoria Falls as well. It's expensive but so worth it - an amazing experience! Apart from the Falls themselves, there is an optional day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi both of which were amazing. Any other info required, don't hesitate to ask!

Best wishes,

Bob

Thanks for the replys. Im afraid im not the same Lucinda, so far ive only been to luxembourg with JY. Definitely want to do the victoria falls add on but would also like to go when the whale watching trip is available so think youve sold me on september!

I also wanted to ask when the river raft tour is available on the canadia rockies as it says subject to season.

And lastly is it true that the costa rica trip will not be available after this year? So many places to go - i want to do them all!! Im so excited to book something soon when i have enough leave!

Thanks

Hello,

My name is Clive. I did the Rockies trip this year starting on 20th May. I think it was a good time of year to go, There was still plenty of snow around on the mountains. We did the raft tour, so it was running then. A terrific holiday!

Enjoy!
