Hello,

I'm new to Just You and have just booked the Vietnam/Cambodia trip departing April 18th. I'm very apprehensive/excited about it but I was a little disappointed when I got my booking confirmation and found that instead of flying direct to Hanoi from Heathrow as it suggests in the brochure 'Depart on your scheduled flight to Hanoi' you actually have to transfer at Kuala Lumpur and on the return journey there is a long time to wait between connections. This wasn't explained to me when I booked - in fact when I asked for the approximate journey time I was told about 12 hours, but that only covers the flight to Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi looks to be another 3 hour flight plus the transfer time. I think that this should be made clear in the brochure and at the time of booking.

This hasn't put me off going but it does make the trip seem a little more daunting.:s

Is anyone else booked for the 18th April?

Thanks

Hi Jilly

So far 18 people have booked this holiday (nine are doing the Cambodia add-on).

I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding about the total journey time - it sounds like the holiday advisor was referring to the Heathrow Kuala Lumpur flight time.

But I hope your disappointment won't last long and that you will look forward to the journey. Personally I really enjoy going to the airport and taking a long flight so I hope you will see it all as part of the experience. Remember that you will be with the rest of the group too and by the time you get to Saigon you will probably have got to know a few people already.

Have a great holiday.

Kind regards

Hi Jilly,

you lucky thing, it sounds a fantastic holiday and I hope you have a wonderful time! I'm hoping to do this tour, including the add-on either next autumn or early 2013, sounds a long way off! I'm sure you won't mind the long trip one bit when the destination is as exciting as that, enjoy every minute!

Best wishes,

Bob
