Hi Olly

Can you advise me on what currency to take to India please?

Also who the tour manager will be and rough age and ratio of female to male are booked on the trip.

Cheers

Hi Amanda

India's currency is the rupee. When I went, I took sterling with me and changed it into rupee at the airport in India.

Your tour manager is Alison Bisset and 30 people will be going - nine men and 21 women, with ages ranging from mid 20s to early 80s.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

What a lovely surprise to have Alison as our tour manager. I went to South Africa with her last September. She was really great and made the holiday extra special. Carol

Hi , its butterfly123 here. Have you heard that the lounges at Heathrow arent't available to us now. I was wondering if anyone fancies meeting at a certain point in the terminal so that we can get to know who is who - if you are interested I am on *** - if you fancy a chat.

regards

Hi - butterfly123 here - Do you know if there are any other arrangements for travellers to join up before the flight from Heathrow 4 on 2.10.11 Spirit of India holiday =- because accordinging to a letter these lounges are not available any more. I just thought it would be great to get to know one another before the trip. and it would certainly kill 3 hours of waiting. regards

Hi Amanda

You might be able to get in touch with some of your group via the Community - I see you have already tried this, so hopefully someone will see your message.

Your tour manager / airport rep may also be able to point you towards a general meeting place. You could suggest this to him / her when you check in.

If fall else fails, look out travellers with the distinctive Just You blue luggage tags. I'm sure they would be pleased to say hello.

Kind regards,

Hi Butterfly and Amanda, It's a shame that the airport louge is closed on the day of our flight, it's a good relaxing place to meet everyone. I hope to get to Heathrow about 6.00pm and will probably wander around near the entrance after security and keep an eye out for the Just You luggage tags. Last time I travelled with Alison she was waiting to meet everyone at the check in desk so if she does this time she should have a good idea where everyone is heading for. Less than 4 weeks to go and looking forward to the trip. Regards Carol
