Doing the NZ trip on 16th Oct 2008. Flying from Leeds/Bradford Airport -> Heathrow -> Los Angeles -> Auckland.

Just wondered if luggage will be automatically transferred at each airport or if it will need to be picked up and checked in again. Also, I understand the stopover in LA is a brief one...will we stay airside there or do we have to go through immigration?? Do we return also via LA??

Sorry for the delay, I was waiting to here from one of my collegues to confirm the arangements.

It depends on the individual booking with regards to re-checking in at London Heathrow. You will be automatically checked through for all other flights but will have to clear customs in Los Angeles in both directions.
