I really keen to book this holiday but am worried that I will not be able to eat the meals that are included. I cannot eat food containing onions. Can anyone who has been on this holiday tell me if this is likely to cause me a real problem? Thanks.

mad,

as a Tour Guide who conducts this tour often, believe me you will be fine. Also you will not be the first person we have encountered with such a request. Breakfast will be self service western style buffets and lunch and dinner you seat at tables for ten people and numerous dishes 9-12 are placed on the lazy Susan for the whole table to share. There will be plenty. Our local Chinese guides when reminded can enquire on which dishes contain onions but generally usually maximum two or three per meal maximum so you will still have plenty of choice............I am next on this tour jan 11th, having just returned..........Now relax and enjoy an amazing cultural experience!!

Hi mad

You should not have any problems with the food as all dishes are served seperately and you take what you want. I did the trip to china in september and had a really great time, the hotels are very good and the yangtze cruise add-on was good too, should you decide to go I am sure you will have a great time Beatie.
