Is our luggage "booked thro'" to Mombasa,or do we have to "baggage reclaim" at Nairobi,then recheck it in etc., please. Graham.

when I went on safari Kenya holiday recentley.. going out you have to re claim bags and re book them in. coming back home the bags are taken off you for 1st flight and then you dont see them again till you get to LHR.. if that helps you at all

Hi Graham

Your baggage will be checked through for you so you'll only have to check it in at Heathrow. The same goes for your return journey.

HI Olly i sent you a message a day ago, i know you have a lot to reply to, but i was wandering the same question as Graham, i did send you my REF NO,, But can you also tell me how long is the flight to Nairob,,and the other flight to Mombasa please , many thanks Vera ( veelight )

Hi Vera

I was just waiting for an answer from a colleague. Your bags will be checked through to Mombasa so you won't need to reclaim them at Nairobi.

The flight from London-Nairobi will take about eight-and-a-half or nine hours, and the connection to Mombasa takes about an hour.
