Hello,

I have received a letter saying that the hotel for the Sorrento trip in May has been changed to the Hotel Tirrenia. I have read some reviews that say this hotel is very good but can be noisy in the rooms that face the street. Any chance we can be secured the quieter rooms?

Hello Gin, if you would like to provide me with your booking reference number then I can pass this on to the customer service team. They will then put a note against your booking, saying that you have requested a quieter room. I can then keep you updated and tell you whether or not we have managed to secure you a quiet room.

I would also like to add that it is worth taking online reviews with a pinch of salt. The views that are often posted online are not usually a fair representation of all of the guests that have stayed in that hotel, and it could be a limited number of customers reporting something that was perhaps a one off that has since stopped, could be construction work etc. Even if that is the case, I will still let customer services know that you like a quieter room.
