Hi Karen

I do hope you will take the plunge and join us for a holiday in the near future. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time. Take a look at some of the messages on this community and you'll see how most people are nervous the first time but never look back.

For most of our holidays, we'll be able to arrange connecting flights to Gatwick for you, so there's nothing to worry about there.

It's difficult to say how long you might have to wait for connections without knowing your holiday plans but one of our holiday advisors will be happy to help with the finer detail. You can speak to one of them on 0800 567 7393.

You may find that some of your fellow passengers will also be on your connecting flight but your holiday really starts when you join the rest of the group and start getting to know people. You'll be amazed by how quickly you forget about those nerves!

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Hi Karen,

Just wanted to say I'm going on my 6th J Y holiday this year, and on 3 of them I had to fly from Manchester to Heathrow. It is all so easy as everything is done for you. I got all my boarding cards in Manchester - so I was checked in for all my flights. Also you'll probably find that your luggage will go straight through to you final destination (unless you changed flights in the country you're visiting, then you have to go through customs at the first stop. I've always met other JY travellers on my flight from Manchester - look for the luggage labels and make sure yours is displayed.

Enjoy!! Pat
