I have booked the Lake Maggiore trip on 23/6/09 and was a bit disapointed to hear that the hotel has been changed, I enjoy staying in smaller family run hotels and had researched the Della Torre originally quoted in the brochure and it seemed ideal. When will we know where we will be staying and can you let me know how many people have booked this holiday so far?.

You will now be staying at one of the 4-star Zacchera Hotels in Stresa or Baveno on the lake's western shore. Facilities include restaurants, bars and swimming pools, while guest rooms have satellite TV and air-conditioning. I hope you will enjoy your stay there - it looks like a lovely place.

As for your other question, 13 people have booked so far and there are still a few places available.
