Hi Cheryl, I hope you will be able to help with my query. I am booked to stay at the Comfort Inn on Friday, 5th October for the pre-holiday get together before flying to Boston on 6th October for New York & New England holiday, which I am really looking forward to! However, I am concerned, as the hotel`s website states that the courtesy bus only goes to Terminals 1,2 & 3. As my flight is with BA I will obviously be flying from Terminal 5 & wondered how easy it will be to get there if the courtesy bus doesn`t stop at Terminal 5. One reason I booked at the hotel was to make my journey as easy as possible, even though I live fairly close. Also could you please tell me how to get to the hotel without having to catch a taxi (as I`ll probably catch tube to Heathrow or Hatton Cross - & I see the hotel is actually two miles from the airport!) Many thanks.

Hi Liz

Good news about getting to the airport. There is another hotel shuttle bus that runs from the Comfort Heathrow to Terminal 5, so you’ll have no problem getting to the airport for your flight. Better still, if you’re booked to stay at the hotel for our get-together the night before, your shuttle bus to the airport is included in the price!

As for getting to the hotel in the first place, your best bet is to go to Heathrow by tube or bus and take the Hoppa H8 shuttle bus, which picks up outside of terminals 1, 2 and 3 and takes you straight to the Comfort hotel. It costs £4 for a single journey.

Have a great holiday.

Warm wishes,
