I am thinking of going to New York and Boston for Christmas. Can you let me know weather at that time of year, time differences and anything else you think may help as this is my first Just You holiday.

Thanks so much

Hi Percy

You'll have fantastic time in New York and Boston. I've been to both (though not at Christmas) and found them fascinating. Boston is one of the US's oldest colonial cities, while New York is of course high-tech and very modern.

It will be cold - about 5 or 6 degrees celsius - but wrap up warm and you'll be fine. The US East Coast is 5 hours behind the UK. For more information, have a look at the tour on our website and click on the grey 'country e-guide' option. You'll find everything you need to know there.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

I went on the Boston New England and New York trip 2 years ago my 1st of 5 JY trips, I loved Boston and New York you will have a great time. I paid for a helecopter tour over the Statue of Liberty which was fantastic. It will be cold so wear layers of clothes that you can put on or take of. Macys and all the stores will be there so you could allways treat yourself to some USA clothes..
