After booking this trip about 18 months ago, I can't believe how close it is now.  🙂  getting very excited

I've been back and re-read all the reviews I can find from previous trips and I think I have an idea of everything I need.

I can see everyone has said we only need USD - Any suggestions on roughly how much to take??

Also any recommendations on plugs/adaptors? I have read that there could be a need for a converter.

Any other advice anyone has would be most welcome and anyone else on the trip it'd be good to hear from you.

Thanks

Paula

I was on the first Galapagos trip last year and still have fond memories of the trip. As for how much money to take all depends on your spending. You do not need a lot for food as a lot of meals are included so budget for drinks and any souvenirs you may wish to buy. I can't remember what type of adaptors you need - I always take a multi adaptor hence difficult to remember. You can always google to find out which adaptor you need. Do take a reusable water bottle with you, which you can refill from the water dispensers. Plastic is banned on Galapagos Islands. This is a fantastic trip. You will have a great time.

It all depends on where you have any meals - I think it was not more expensive than UK. I personally can't eat 3 full meals a day so did not go out to eat when meals were not included. I always take more cash than I think I will need and take one credit card as well!
