Hi Everyone

So pleased I found this website, the vibes seem really positive ?

So I am looking at taking my first ever holiday alone, and although I'm terrified I am also heartened by the feedback I have been reading on this site, and feel more geared up now to take the solo plunge!

Is there anybody that has booked this trip for September 7th 2019 or May 9th next year,? Would be great to hear from you if so.  Equally has anyone done this tour and can advise on the best month to go?. I have never been to Canada so have no idea of the climate, and what is most suitable to wear. Also the added excursions, any tips on one's that have been good would be very much appreciated.

I have so many questions to ask now, but they can wait

Would be lovely to hear back from you !

Hi Tracy,

What a shame we will just miss each other as I am booked on the 3rd Sept trip (which I see is full).

But I just thought I would re-assure you that we have all had that excited/terrified feeling of the first solo trip and you really do not need to worry. JY look after us very well and I have always thoroughly enjoyed all my adventures and made new friends. I found the worst part was getting to the airport but as long as you give yourself plenty of time it will be OK.  And of course once you are familiar with trains/airports etc it is much easier.   It might be you are already familiar with the airport in which case the worst is over ! You soon spot other JY'ers from the luggage labels and your adventure begins.

If you decide to go to Canada on 7th, it might be that some of our days out might overlap, so we might get to wave .

Canada is new for me too so sorry I can't answer any of your questions but it does look spectacular and I haven't met anyone (who has been) who hasn't raved about it.  Happy  travels whatever you decide to do.

Joany.
