I did this tour in 2016 and no need for malaria meds.  I used repellent but don't think I got any bites.  This is a brilliant trip, I hope you have a fantastic time.  The highlight was obviously the time at the lodges but for me, Singapore was a wonderful experience.  It is an amazing city!  Please do write a review when you get back.

I too was on the same trip as Bob and there was no need for malaria medication. I did not even take any repellent and was fine. This is a wonderful trip.

Hello everyone, I’m going to Borneo and Singapore in June, can anyone who has done this trip tell me if they took maleria meds. There seems to be mixed messages about this on health websites.
