Hello 🙂 I am new to JY and am really looking forward to my trip at end of October to India. Does anyone know if any vaccinations are required, and is it advisable to take anti malaria tablets in advance. Thanks!

I have done both Spirit of India and Kerala tours and did not take anti malarial tablets on either trips. You will require some injections and I suggest you consult either your GP or Practice Nurse as soon as possible.

Go to your gp practice, the nursing team there will check the area with you where you are travelling and organise the appropriate vaccinations free of charge. I did the Spirit of India last year, absolutely wonderful, never a dull moment... I'm off to Kerala now, got the travel bug
