Just booked my first holiday on my own. June 2017- Discover Apulia... apprehensive and excited at the same time!

Hi

I did this trip in 2014. Lovely part of Italy and the excursions give you a real flavour of  the area. My only reservation was about the hotel which is situated in a village with few amenities. Decor is very dated and bedrooms would benefit from upgrading. Food was ok.

Overall, I enjoyed the holiday and I am sure you will too.

Hi Lesley

Was it the Hotel  Silvana di Fasano you stayed at?  I'm  a bit concerned by your comment, I'm booked on the tour in October  2016. I'll certainly  write a review when I get back. The hotel reviews on Tripadvisor aren't too bad

Hi Sarah

Yes it was that hotel. I think the problem is the Italian four star hotels do not equate to our star rating. An Italian neighbour told me that four stars can be given if hotel have a patio and a swimming pool! At the end of the day each individual will make up their own mind. Personally, I would have preferred to stay in a the small coastal

Town nearby.

Hope this helps

Lesley

Hi, I did this trip and stayed in this hotel in June 14 and I loved it! There is not much to see in the village but if you do the excursions there is a lovely pool to relax by when you get back, and a nice bar to spend the evenings in...what more would you want? When we were there it was possible for the hotel to arrange transport down to their sister hotel on the beach, an extra cost though.

BB 🙂
