Hi everyone, I've just joined this forum as I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has been on the Venice River Cruise.

Looking forward to hearing from someone.

🙂

Hi all again - as I've not heard from anyone re the Venice cruise, I would appreciate comments from others who have done any of the river cruises and what their experiences were.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi there.

I haven't done any of the River Cruises yet, but am due to go on my first one in November, "Imperial Cities of the Danube".

There are a couple of links to past reviews of the cruise here for you.  I hope that helps a bit.

I'm  off on the Budapest to Strasbourg  cruise  next week.  I have done several other river cruises but only the China  one  in a JY group. River cruises are a great way  to tour wthout  the hassle  of  moving  hotels. Don't expect oceanCruise glitz. River boats are long and narrow, and cabins tend to be compact. Fine for singles  but, can be very cosy or two!     That said, food is usually very good, and staff friendly and helpful .  The big bonus being on a river is that you see so much more than you would on a road trip.  You can always check out the cruise  line and  itinerary  out on line. If a particular cruise interests you, go for it. You will be in good company on a JY cruise.
