I have booked 2no holidays to Italy this year and wanted to see if anyone is on the same holidays as me. I'm doing the walking in Tuscany in May and Pompeii end of August. It would be nice to get chatting beforehand. Is anyone staying the night before at Heathrow on the 23rd of May? Which hotel are you staying at? Not stayed before and a little nervous.

Thanking you in advance.   🙂

I did the Pompeii  tour last October.  It's  a really good one, packs so much into a week.   The trip to Capri although expensive is a must  and the Amalfi coast drive is breathtaking.

Hi. My friend Jan and I are also going on the Walking in Tuscany holiday in May, our first with JustYou and the first time we have ever taken the same holiday. We are travelling up to Heathrow early on the morning of departure so won't meet up with you until we are in the departure lounge. I'm sure it will be an amazing holiday in a beautiful area of Italy, an area I don't know although Jan has visited a couple of times. Presumably you live some distance away from Heathrow? We both live in the Cotswolds (Chipping Campden) and had intended to stay at an hotel near the airport the night before, but complications with other commitments that weekend have led us to decide it will be easier to take a taxi, although we may feel differently when we have to be on parade at 4.15am on the 9th! Hope the hotel beds are comfy...we will be ready to fall into them by the end of the first evening! Looking forward to meeting you and all fellow travellers too. Best wishes, Sue.
