Hi. Has anyone done the Spirit of India trip? I'm considering it for March 2017.

Thanks. Olive

Hi Olive

I did this trip in 2012. It is a very busy tour but I loved every minute of it. The Taj Mahal and dawn is a magnificent sight.

My advice is book this trip.

A lot of folk seem to have done this trip already, Olive. Go into "Search" (top righthand corner of this site), then "Reviews" and then enter "Spirit of India" in the keywords window. I've just done this and come up with at least 3 reviews.

Hi, I was on this holiday in November 2015. It was a fantastic holiday, taking in so many amazing sights and experiences. Almost all visits were included in the price so not a lot of extras. Hotels were all of a very good standard, and I enjoyed the food, of which there was a great variety, mainly Indian, but you could get pasta etc in most places. Hotels were generally large city centre ones, with good quality large rooms, but also a nice two day stay in bungalows around a garden in Ranthambore. we travelled by coach, train and air whilst in India. The tour is, however very full on and not a lot of time relaxing (I've been on quite a lot of JY holidays and I think this was the busiest, with most early morning alarm calls) But If you are going all the way to India you may as well get and and see as much as you can. Hope this helps, if you have any specific questions just ask. Jan M

Thank you everyone for your help. I'm not sure yet if JY are doing this particular tour next year - but I'm hoping. It looks amazing and I can't find this particular tour, with so much detail, anywhere else.
