This is my first Just You trip and my first visit to Iceland. I have found the threads on here very useful in terms of what to expect, so 'thank you' for all of the advice. Luckily, I have lots of thermals from my trip to Lapland a few years ago, so just needed a few more waterproof bits and pieces. Anyone else on here going and as excited as I am????

I'm going to Iceland on 13th March as are two friends I met on the China tour in 2013. Looking forward to Iceland very much, have only heard good things about it. Look forward to meeting you.

I look forward to meeting you both. Seems like I'm going to be the 'new girl'. By the way, are we all 'junior members' regardless of age ? I wonder if I've put in some wrong details when I registered; not really junior anymore but certainly wish I was! Never having been with Just You before, is there normally a range of ages ?

Don't worry about being a 'new' girl, we all had to start somewhere. There's always a wide range of ages so it's very easy to fit in. Being a 'Junior Member' unfortunately doesn't relate to our ages - if only! - but to how many posts you have made. I think up to 40 posts made we are classed as Juniors and then progress after that to being a Senior or whatever is the next in line.

Not long to go now, now that the weather has turned colder it is getting us ready for the temperatures in Iceland!

The "junior member" refers to how often you have posted on here, I do not often post I just look sometimes!

On the 5 other holidays I have been on with Just You the age range is usually about fifty to eighty!! and a few younger ones. Generally everyone gets on with each other because we all have a common interest--the place we are visiting.
