Hi everyone, I am thinking of booking Costa de la Luz for September 1st but I've heard it can be very windy. I wondered if anyone has been in September and can share any first hand knowledge? 🙂

I went to Costa de la Luz in May and it certainly was not windy then so not too sure about September. This is a fantastic trip - lovely hotel, food, beach etc. I would not let the windy weather (if it is windy) stop me.

Hi Belinda,

I was in Costa de la Luz last September and I wouldn't say it was windy. A light breeze sometimes, which can be quite welcome when it's hot. Go ahead and book, it's a lovely holiday.

I was on the trip with Cathy last September and I agree. It was a little bit breezy (not windy) at times down by the beach but it helped to temper the heat. I was certainly never cold at the hotel and outside at the hotel even at night.

I went to this hotel in September 13 and September 14 and i did not notice that it was windy.

Ive booked to go on September 8th, first time, really looking forward to it, do post your comments when you return from there as I would be interested to hear all about it. Apparently there are only ladies booked on this trip.

I went in September 2013 and yes it was quite windy in the evenings.
