I have just received confirmation of my booking (made by telephone), for New England with the New York add-on. Unlike any of my many previous bookings with JY, no copy of the itinerary has been sent. The accompanying letter states this will be sent 3 months before departure. While I appreciate changes are sometimes necessary, I am concerned about any major deviations from the published itinerary, especially a change to the New York hotel. I based my decision to take the add-on on details from yourself and previous travellers. Can you give me any reassurance please?

Hi,

The itinerary that is featured in the brochure and ultimately on the website is the one that we endeavour to operate. At present we do not anticipate any major changes, although we do reserve the right to make changes if required for operational reasons (for example the US shutdown last year had an impact on some of our holidays) or if we become dissatisfied with the services of a hotel. If we do need to make any changes we will inform all affected travellers as soon as possible.
