I went last year and would go again if it wasn't only from Gatwick. The hotel is great and the village is really pretty. Feels really Italian. Try not to get a room over the entertainment area. Some of the group did and found it noisy. I was lucky to be nearer to the pool which is lovely.

Thanks Angie - hopefully will not get a noisy room - have enough trouble sleeping as it is!! Agree Gatwick isn't the easiest place to get to. I'm going to travel down there the evening before. Can't wait and thanks again for the tip.

Yes soon we will be in lovely Italy and hopefully with some sunshine, its been a long winter. Not long now before our Holiday. We said about meeting up at Gatwick, Don't know if you want to meet before we go through Passport Control? Can't remember what's there. I was thinking we could meet at the Harrods Shop at about 6.45. I will be wearing a Denim jacket & carrying a Owl Rucksack JY label of course. I agree with the other responders, it's a good holiday. Not jam packed with tourists but sill enough to do.
