Been looking at this site for the past couple of years thinking should i just book a hoilday of a life time for my 40th birthday in 2015. Would really like to go to Australia, but being so far away and travelling on my own you can understand my hesitation. As 2015 dates are now coming through for a couple of tours in Oz i was just wondering if anyone else is considering these tours?

Yes yes yes yes yes.:D

I did exactly this - I arrived in Perth on my 40th and it was the best thing I've ever done. The trip was absolutely incredible - truly the trip of a lifetime. Firstly, you won't be travelling on your own. You should be able to find at least some of your fellow travellers at the airport and use that long flight to get to know each other. I treated myself to an upgrade to Premium economy as a birthday present and found the flight passed by really quickly.

The itinerary on the trip is brilliant - you get to see all the highlights that this wonderful country has to offer. You will know from other posts that this is really a great way to safely see the world in good company.

I promise you won't regret doing it.

Welcome

If you have been keeping an eye on the JY boards and postings I hope you will of seen that we are all friendly, and that once you have tested the water you will book more I am sure.

I have been lucky enough to visit Australia, although not with JY...I absolutely love this country and the people, my dream was to visit Ayers Rock, and I took a helicopter flight over it and the Olga's amazing! such great sights to see the Karunda Railway has great views, I am not a great flyer but the flight did go fast. if you go just see and do what ever you can and have FUN!!!

If you need any more information just ask.

I have also been to Hong Kong and New Zealand with JY which the scenery is stunning and I had a great time, but out of the two Australia has my heart, if your budget could stretch perhaps tag on New Zealand while your that way. Which is what I should of done instead of the expense and journeys twice.

Hi

I say GO FOR IT you won't regret Australia! i'm going this November, obviously on my own but your not really as you'll be with a group of other single travellers, it looks a fantastic tour with so many highlights, you can find lots of useful information and reviews etc if you just type in Australia into the search engine on here and elsewhere, whenever you decide to go you will have fun and make new friends i'm sure

all the best dave

Hi,

This week it is exactly a year ago I set out on my adventure to Singapore, Australia and New Zealand with JY. What an experiance it was. NOT to be missed.

Really its a "Once in a lifetime experience" which should not be missed. As other's have said "Go For IT". You will love it.

Yes it is a long way to travel, but you will see things that are not possible in this country. Meet new people on your adventure, experience different cultures and ways of life.

Hope you do decide to go. Just You will look after you all the way from start of the booking process to every day whist on your adventure by a Tour Manager who sorts interesting excursions, problems all through the tour.

Hello

I agree and say go for it. Life is too short. Australia is one of the destinations I would love to visit one day. I have heard so many nice things about it.

Regards

Jaya

Hi I'm thinking about doing this tour in 2015, but it depends on my finances and what new tours JY might launch this time next year! I'm glad you've decided to go for it, should be an amazing experience! Who knows, our paths may cross on the Oz part of your adventure!

Hope you have a wonderful time,

Bob
