Hi, Well I'm thinking seriously about it but haven't yet taken the plunge! Safari/Kenya is on my 'bucket list' but I've never yet been on a Singles holiday so I have to pluck up the courage! Also, I'm trying to work out whether to do the 10 day holiday or to book the 15 day one with the Coast Extension. Which one have you booked?

When I went on this tour I did book the extension and so did many others. It was really nice to just chill out, I went Sept time and it was hot!!!...Safari is great to see all the animals. You will have a great time, a very good holiday.

Hi Angie I have booked this today only doing the 10day holiday as can't take more than 2 weeks from work.

Like you I have never been on a single holiday and a little nervous but excited at the same time!!

Take the plunge you're only her once!!!!

I would say pluck the courage and take the plunge if this is the trip you really want to do. Life is too short so why waste the time. Hope you will get through your 'bucket list' very quickly. I can assure you that travelling with Just You is fantastic. Everything is taken care of and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy. Plus you meet lots of interesting people of all ages who have lots of experiences to share.

Thanks Jaya, Lyn & Cindy, it's warming to hear your encouragment and is much appreciated.

I think I'll try and do a 2 week trip and am looking at doing (as an alternative), the Watumu -Kenya-All inclusive 2 week trip and then I can take a 2 night Safari excursion as an add on from there. That trip leaves on the 7th September which is better for me work-wise. Has anyone else had experience of doing Kenya/Safari that way before?

Hope you have a great time Lyn, from what I'm reading we have nothing to worry about, just look forward to the excitement!!!

Hi Babs When I booked this there were only 5 places left so seems to be filling up fast, we go from London at 8pm

I have not yet booked any excursions as I'm not sure yet what I want to do. Seems like a long way off at the moment but sure it will soon come round. Like you looking forward to meeting everone too. Lyn

Hi,

If you are excited and nervous at just booking the holiday, just wait until you are up close and personal with all the animals in the Park.

Have a great time, oh and say Hi to the Lions for me please.

Hi

No I havn't yet, I love dolphins so I am seriously considering that one, when I went to Bulgaria last year you could book optional trips at the resort so I am hoping you can also do this on this one, have either of you two got any ideas on this subject. Like you Lyn it seems a long way off but of but will come round quick !

Like you I also love dolphins, but have read on this site that it's all day travelling and seeing the dolphins is a bit ???? Therefor I am thinking will wait and see when I am there + after 3 days safari might feel like a chill out!!!
