Hi Everyone. After not quite going through with it last year, I am again tempted by this trip this year, but have a couple of worries. First, as a huge cat-lover, I am terrified of possibly seeing cages of cats which are to be boiled alive, also of being given any to eat myself. Similarly, I would hate to see the cages of bears being milked for their bile. How likely do you think this is, has anyone who has been seen anything awful? I know the restaurants do keep live animals, (I've recently heard of an owl), to be killed to order. Though I'd love to see the Terracotta Army, Great Wall, Pandas, Temples etc., I don't want to be a hypocrite, though I do realise there is cruelty to animals (and people) in every country in the world. What does everyone think, please?
