Well I have gone and done it! So now there will definitely two Pauline's on the trip. Perhaps we will have a chance to chat over the next few months. This is my first trip abroad on my own so it will be an exciting and quite a daunting experience.

That is great news and so good to think that I will actually 'know' someone before I go. This will be my second trip with Just You but my first ever long haul flight and I am really looking forward to it. I went to Italy about 7 years ago with the company and it was top class from beginning to end!! Are you travelling down on the day to Gatwick or are you planning to go down the day before?

It will be good to chat to you over the coming months and I am looking forward to getting to know you.

Assuming the flight is 1.15 in the afternoon as shown in the brochure I think I will probably fly down from Manchester that morning, but will have to wait and see.

No the only problem I had was that my existing annual insurance cover was European only so I needed to sort out a new policy.

I did China this year and you are in for a very busy time. China is an amazing place. If you are a lady who likes having scary moments, there is no better way to enjoy them than a Beijing pedestrian crossing. At least, that is what I think they are. A word of warning, on the plane for breakfast, they offered us Omelette or Porridge. When it was opened the porridge was runny with beef mince in it. Not many of our group finished it!!

It's sounding more and more llike my kind of holiday. This will be my first long haul flight and I am really excited!!
