Hi everyone,

I am thinking of booking a Just You holiday for next year, I would really like to go back to Italy. Need the courage to book. I have been to a discovery holiday, but want to take that extra jump and go abroad. I would like to get chatting and meet some friends on here before I go. Hope to hear from someone soon. K .

Hi There

I am not on this tour but I did Highlights of Tuscany the other year, which is a nice little tour not to hectic. There are a couple of video links on here from myself NIXON and a lady called LOVELY LESLEY have a look at them it might answer some of your questions. I have been on 8 tours and had a great time on them all..

SO COME ON find a tour you fancy and book it. Life is to short to bother worrying about things. People do get on well with one another, it's only a week or two not to much to ask from people to rub along for that amount of time. I have made some great holiday friends and sometimes travel with them on other JY tours so go on you know you want to BOOK IT!!!!!!!

Hello K (halek88)

Sorry no one has replied to you so far. Our regular moderator Ben is on holiday and some threads have got lost in the system.

All I can say is that there is a lot of us going on single holidays out there and the world is an excellent place to explore and see. You own little adventure.

I will be on my first JY holiday in 14 days time to Australia and New Zealand. Never been to New Zealand before and it is always somewhere that I have always wanted to go and see.

I am getting excited now and looking forward to the adventure.

Because we are single travellers I am looking forward to meeting others on this trip. Dont get me wrong, I have a partner at home but unfortunately we are unable to go on holiday together. She has already been on a JY holiday this year to Greece and she will be booking others shortly when we receive the new JY brochure.

You say that you would like to go to Italy next year. I will just say go on and do it. Read all the threads on the community board and you will see that you would love it. Have a look at Cindys (Nixon) thread at the top for insperation.

All the best and I do hope you will book your holiday. Good luck and I think you will enjoy your time on it.

Hi everyone. I took the plunge and had my first holiday with Just You in Rome for 5 days in September 2009. I booked this holiday as my tester for Just You holidays. Not looked back since !!! Have been to China in April 2011 and Cuba in April 2012. All were great holidays. Am now looking forward to my "long holiday" to Singapore & Australia in October 2012. Cant wait !! Am also looking forward to my hols in 2013 - have been looking at Vietnam with the Cambodia add on. Happy holidays to my fellow travellers !!!

Hi

I have just returned from my first trip with JY, Highlights of Tuscany. I cannot emphasise how much fun it was from start to finish. I took my iPod and loads of books to keep me occupied and didn't touch them once! Go for all the excursions, you won't regret it. I made new friends, had great food and visited wonderful places. I wish I was still there. Just go for it!

Hi Kim, I also did this tour in Sept 2010, had a lovely week and I'm sure you did too. Jaya, were you on the same tour as me?? My tour manager was Claire Mellor (fantastic, one of the best I've had) and there was a general strike on the day we flew back so we had to fly from Madrid instead!

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Bob

Claire Mellor was our tour guide as well and if there were no two tour dates in September, then perhaps we were on the same tour. I went on the 1 September trip and flew from Luton. I remember there was a strike when we flew back on 8 September, but those of us flying to Luton were able to fly back from Malaga and the flight was on time. Were you on this tour? I am the one who missed the Ronda trip as I was not feeling well!
