Just found out that a new series of the fabulous Inspector Montalbano starts Saturday night (25 August) 9pm on BBC4 (catch up on I Player if out). It is on for the next 12 weeks, so will make the approaching autumn much more bearable, as well as browsing the new Just You brochure out in September. Met a few people on Just You holiday in Italy this year who have seen previous series, so they will know what to look forward to. Newbies should not be put off by the subtitles, You Will Love It.

Hi Gina,

Thanks for the info - didn`t know the programme existed, but I will tune in on Saturday!

Newbie to Tuscany 6/9/12, so having seen the film `Under the Tuscan Sun` on DVD recently; this will be another scenic appetiser!

Regards,

Janet

I am sure you will really enjoy your holiday, it should be lovely in Tuscany early September - warm enough to get a gentle tan, but not so hot that you cannot walk about and really appreciate everything there is to see nor take away your appetite for the wonderful food. Take a pashmina/wrap/cardigan for the evenings, as it can get cool when the sun goes down at this time of year.

Thanks for this, Gina.

I have just watched the catch up on iPlayer, and set the rest of the series to record. It's great for getting into Italian mode, but I hope it's a little more restful when I am in Sorrento in October.
