I am thinking of booking the Halkidiki trip later in the year, please could somebody tell me if there are any places one can walk to in the evenings or is it just the hotel on the beach with nothing else to do.

Thanks a lot

Think my reply went awol ! Hi, I am going in Sept. I went last year really enjoyed it. There are two hotels on the site, I believe we are going to the sister one that I was in last year. There are a lot of grounds to walk round. Plenty of walks, but I would not advise walking out of the grounds at night, just no lighting. The hotel last year was very good, nice rooms, good food and friendly staff. Hope this helps.

I am booked for Sept. went in October last year. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the resort. I did go to the Sithonia last year and not sure, but may be in the other one in the resort this time. The Sithonia is a really nice hotel rooms are good so is the food and service. There are plenty of walks/bike rides around the area. Nice little village nearby Neo Marmaris (if I remember right !) A handy little ferry takes you there from the hotel. Rooms have safe, hairdryer and - retractable mirror in bathroom ! I know, but saves taking one !

Thanks for your replies, now could you tell me if the baths have showers (so that you have to climb into the bath) or are there shower cubicles please as i find it difficult to climb into deep tubs. I have not booked this holiday yet as i was waiting to see if there are any new holidays in the new brochure that is due out soon, i am going to Bulgaria in June.

Many thanks

I am afraid they are baths. I don't remember that they were difficult to get into, like some I have had, but still a bath.

I am off to Kusadasi in May so can let you know what that is like as well when I return.
