I am going to australia on 13th march, this is my first time travelling on my own after losing my husband. after much debating I decided to just go for it and for reassurance booked the add on flights from manchester airport. I recently got my tickets to find that on the return journey I have a 5 hour wait in heathrow before my return to manchester. If I want to change to an earlier flight it would cost me £150. I am really stressing about the holiday anyway at the moment and this has just made things worse.
