Hi

I have just joined the Just you site and was interested in the Discovery Weekend breaks can anyone recommend them.?

I noticed the one at Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel says that you change seats at meal time (which sounds a good idea to help you mix with other guests) but none off the other hotels say that ,so I wondered if anybody knows if Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel is the only one ?

I am in my 60s and have never travelled alone before.

Hi Bob

I'm going to the one in Leeds in May, but I've already done one trip with JY.

You are encouraged to sit at different tables (the ones reserved for JY guests) to mix with the other members of the group.

Hello Bob

Welcome to the community. I did the Leeds Discovery last August and it was terrific. The day trip to York was a great way to discover this fabulous city. We changed tables at Dinner, we did have our own dining room and for breakfast we used the main restaurant where you could sit anywhere. It does not take long for the group to settle in together and before you know it you are chatting like long lost friends.

All the best

Peter

Hello Bob,

The message is there just to tell you that your message will need to be approved by the administrator before being posted. Sometimes this will take a while, as we have lots of posts to deal with. Thankfully, I popped online and saw your post quickly!
