Hi singletravel,
Welcome to us lot at Just You.
You say holidays are a little sad for you - oh No they are not - leastways not any more.
I did my first JY trip at Xmas 2007 - and had a fantastic time. That was Austria (no longer available) but I have done the Dolomites twice and Germany once. These are coach holidays - you are picked up locally and taken to Dover for the Channel crossing and then onto your holiday destination. There are quite a few different holidays by coach which you may fancy.
Another alternative is to fly - I am going to Prague for Xmas this year so will fly this time.
Or you could go on a long-haul holiday - the choice is wide. So there are lots of interesting and beautiful places that you could go to.
Why don't you look at something you fancy and book it. You will meet a lot of new people - of all ages - and your tour manager will make sure you are well looked after. I used to hate Xmas - now I love it!
You know you don't have to be brave to get on a coach or plane and remember everyone else will be in the same position as yourself - a single traveller.
Have a fantastic Xmas - wherever you go. You will be so glad you did and Xmas will be anything but sad - I promise.
Be happy,
Best wishes,
Lesley
PS: I am still friends with people I met on that 1st trip.
