Hi Les, Good to find a third person on this trip. I'm Elaine and this is my first lone trip too. Looking forward to the holiday but not the flight! Are you going from Heathrow?

hi there ladies not looking forward to flight myself; being checking the grand canyon trip which as got to be a must good to have contact as i went to newyork and went solo not as much fun as i think this may be anyway keep in touch les [firefly liked the porgram hence the name ha ha]

Is anyone booking any trips before we go? Alcatraz, Grand Canyon flight? Some people say do it before, others say wait. Any suggestions?

Good to hear from you,nice to know you are first timer too. Are you flying from Heathrow? Hopefully we will all be able to chat on the message board nearer to our holiday, although won't be long now, I am really looking forward to it, but still a bit nervous.

Yes I am flying from Heathrow, so will meet in the departure lounge. I have just seen that we have been moved to the Hotel Maya in Los Angeles. Looked it up on Trip advisor seems very good. Hope I get the Bay view!

Hello Pete, Carol & Les. So now we are 4. Anyone getting excited yet? I can't wait. Already booked a show on our last night at the Las Vegas Hilton - a band I know are playing there. Can't believe how brave I am getting!!

HI THERE ALL THE TIME IS NEAR AND ALL IS WELL SO FAR. IF ANYONE IS LOOKING TO STAY IN HOTEL THE DAY BEFORE WE GO THE PREM INN HOTELS ARE DOING DEALS ONE NIGHT FOR 29POUNDS MUST BE BOOKED 21DAYS BEFORE YOU GO AS I HAVE DONE AND ALSO THE DAY WE COME BACK AS I WONT FILL LIKE DRIVING WHEN WE GET BACK DONE IT ONCE BEFORE AND NEARLY FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL ANYWAY TALK AGAIN SOON BYE LES

Hi cheergirl, looking forward to meeting you ... it's getting near now! Have booked 2 of the 3 trips (not the ratpack). Not yet sorted out overnight accom in London - want a shuttle bus to get me there in the morning. Knowing my luck I would get lost left to my own devices!

I've booked my overnight at the Ramada Hotel Heathrow. They offer an airport shuttle, do we fly from Terminal 1 ?
