I'm thinking of booking Kenya sometime during 2010. Anyone out there thinking the same??

If this is Magic of Kenya Sept 29th 2010 I am doing this tour, with a Lady I have travelled with to Poland and Austria on JY tours with. We have booked for this. Should be a great Holiday of a lifetime I think

Yeah I was, considering possibly Jun time. Never been to Africa so thought it would be something completely different!

Hi all

Booked on my first JY trip to magic of Kenya in January 2010. Really looking forward to it, but a bit nervous travelling on my own. Be nice to hear from anyone else going on this trip.

There were 12 others booked onto this trip when i booked, guess you were one, but guess they have not looked on here yet.

Really looking forward to it, but a bit nervous. Always wanted to go on safari, but my friends never fancied it

Where abouts you coming from? Im travelling up from Cornwall

Hi Sam,

Heading down from the other end of the country from you, Carnoustie in Tayside, flying down to Heathrow from Edinburgh, its the cheapest and easiest way. Staying over the night before, never like arriving on day of travel, much more relaxed if I'm there early. Quite like hanging around airports anyway, very much a people watcher!

For all those booking the Kenya trip in 2010, you will love it. I went in March 2009. It was very hot,but what an experience. Both resorts are lovely. Good food in both places and the local people are so friendly and happy to have us there.Great souvenirs to purchase at really reasonable prices and all hand made in Kenya.

I've just booked (yesterday) for the March 2010 trip, I'm so excited! This is my first time with JY and I've never been on holiday on my own before. The trip looks really fantastic! Is anybody else going on this one?

Hello sammyjo,

Days are counting down fast, been a bit over organised, got my jabs already, boy did the yellow fever one knock me for a six!

Not doing the extension, couldn't get the time off of work, but will make the most of the time I am off!

Thanks for your input mabes, sounds like you had a blast.

Hi all,

I am Lotti, going on this holiday with the add-on, already getting a little nervous, I have been away with another singles company 3 times but always am aprehensive!, My friend has just come back from her honeymoon there and had a great time and said everyone is really friendly and the travellers logde hotel was fantastic, hope to hear from someone soon
